Ads should be the easiest marketing to measure
Paid advertising is the one channel where every dollar can be traced to an outcome, which makes it strange how often businesses cannot say what their ads return. The usual reasons: conversion tracking that was never finished, campaigns built around what the platform suggested, and reports full of clicks and impressions instead of leads.
We start from the other end. What is a lead worth to you, what does one cost today, and what would need to change for ads to be clearly profitable? Everything else follows from those three numbers.
How we run campaigns
Tracking before spending. Form submissions, phone calls, booking clicks and, where you can share it, closed sales are set up as conversion events and verified. Without that, optimization is guesswork and the platforms optimize toward whatever is easiest to count.
Campaigns built for intent. Search campaigns are organized around what people actually type, with negative keywords that keep spend away from the searches you cannot serve. For local service businesses, Google Local Services Ads often deliver the best cost per lead because you pay per lead, and we handle the verification and management.
Landing pages that keep the promise. An ad that says “same-day furnace repair” should land on a page that says the same thing, shows the number, and makes the next step obvious. We build and test these pages rather than sending paid traffic to a homepage.
Optimization on a schedule. Search terms, bids, budgets, ad copy and pages are reviewed weekly. Strategy is reviewed monthly with you. Spend moves toward the campaigns that produce leads, and we say plainly when more budget would not help.
What the reporting looks like
One page a month: what you spent, how many leads it produced, what each cost, and how that compares to last month and to your target. If you share what became a customer, we tie that in too. It is the same measurement layer we use for search and the website, so the numbers agree with each other.
Paid and organic together
Ads buy visibility now; search optimization earns it over time. Running both lets us learn from paid search which queries convert, feed that into content and SEO, and gradually shift budget as organic visibility grows.
