Social media has a job, and it is not “being active”
For most businesses, social media does three things that matter: it proves you are real and busy when someone checks you out, it keeps you in front of past customers so they come back and refer, and it gives your best work somewhere to live. Occasionally it produces a lead directly. It rarely replaces search, and pretending otherwise leads to a lot of posting for no result.
So we plan social around the business. What do customers look at before they call you? What do they need to see to trust you? What is worth sharing about your work this month? That is the content calendar.
What we do
Set a plan you can sustain. Which platforms, what kinds of content, how often, and what we will deliberately skip. The plan fits your capacity for photos, video and approvals, because a plan that depends on a busy owner filming every week will stall by February.
Produce content from real material. Jobs completed, questions customers ask, people on the team, before-and-after work, seasonal advice. We turn that into posts, short video and graphics in your brand, and our photography and video service captures it when there is nothing on file.
Optimize the profiles. Bios, categories, links, pinned posts and highlights are set up so a profile visit leads somewhere: the website, a call, a message. Google Business Profile is treated as a social channel here too, because for local businesses it is the most visited profile you have.
Manage the conversation. Comments, messages and reviews get answered promptly and in your voice. Reviews are part of search visibility now, so we make asking for them and responding to them part of the routine.
Amplify what works. When a post or offer earns attention, a small paid push to the right local audience can multiply it. Tracking shows what it produced, and the same measurement feeds our paid advertising work.
How we report
You will see reach and engagement, but in context. The numbers we manage toward are profile visits, website clicks, messages, review growth and enquiries, because those are the ones that connect to revenue.
